TEAM NEWS: High Class Racing enters two-car MLMC program in LMP3

High Class Racing proudly expands its endurance racing presence with a two-car entry in the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup, fielding a pair of Ligier JS P325 Toyota LMP3s. The team brings a powerful combination of young talent and proven speed across its driver pairings.

For the 2026 season, High Class Racing will run:

  • Car No. 20 – Lenny Ried (DEU) & Philip Lindberg (DNK)
  • Car No. 49 – Andrew Rackstraw (ZAF) & Michael Hove (DNK)

This marks an important strategic step for the team as it strengthens its foundation in prototype racing and prepares future talent for progression into higher European and global endurance categories.

A determined and ambitious two-car structure

Car No. 20 – Lenny Ried & Philip Lindberg

Young German racer Lenny Ried, known for his rapid progression through junior categories, embraces the challenge of LMP3 competition:

“Joining the Michelin Le Mans Cup with High Class Racing is a major opportunity. The team has a strong reputation in prototype racing, and I’m excited to develop further together with Philip. We aim to be competitive from the very first race.”

Danish driver Philip Lindberg continues his journey with High Class Racing after several seasons with the team, where he has steadily developed into a key young talent within the LMP3 program. Most recently, he delivered an impressive performance in the Asian Le Mans Series, demonstrating both speed, consistency and a growing maturity behind the wheel:

“Competing again with High Class Racing feels completely natural after the past years together. The team knows how to get the best out of me, and our recent results in the Asian Le Mans Series have given me a lot of confidence heading into the Michelin Le Mans Cup. Lenny and I form a strong pairing, and I am looking forward to building on the momentum we’ve already created.”

Car No. 49 – Andrew Rackstraw & Michael Hove

South African driver Andrew Rackstraw continues his endurance racing journey with High Class Racing after a strong winter campaign together with teammate Michael Hove in the Prototype Winter Series:

“Returning to competition with High Class Racing — and doing it together with Michael again — feels like a natural next step. We built a solid foundation during the Winter Series, and stepping into a full Michelin Le Mans Cup season gives us the perfect opportunity to build on that momentum. The competition will be tough, but we are ready.”

Danish racer Michael Hove also transitions into the Michelin Le Mans Cup following the pair’s successful LMP3 program earlier this year:

“Andrew and I developed a great working relationship in the Prototype Winter Series, and it gives us a strong starting point heading into the 2026 season. Joining the Le Mans Cup with High Class Racing is a big milestone for me, and having continuity in the driver pairing is a huge advantage. We’re arriving well-prepared, motivated and eager to fight at the front.”

With both LMP3 cars prepared and driver lineups ready, High Class Racing now turns its full focus toward the season opener in Barcelona next week.
