A second victory of the season in Belgium for the no85 R-ace GP crew of Danial Frost and Enzo Peugeot, has given them a comfortable 30-point advantage over their nearest rivals. They have amassed a total of 87-points, with the no12 Brutal Fish by Campos crew of Arthur Rogeon and August Raber in second place on 57-points thanks to their victory from pole in Le Mans and a second-place finish at Spa-Francorchamps.
With a maximum of 52 points still left to be won in the final two races of the season, the only other cars that still capable of lifting the trophy are Lucas Fluxa Cross and Matus Ryba in the no19 Brutal Fish by Campos (50-points) and Colin Queen and Giovanni Maschio in the no50 23Events Racing (45-points).
While Lucas Fecury and Sebastian Bach in the no92 Forestier Racing by VPS, who are on 35-points, could equal the no85 R-ace GP crew if they won the final two races from pole position and their rivals failed to score any points, they would lose the title on countback, so they are effectively out of the championship race.
LMP3 Pro/Am
Defending champions Eric De Doncker and Gillian Henrion took a third win in a row at Spa-Francorchamps and the no98 Motorsport98 crew are on 97-points, 27-points ahead of the no66 Rinaldi Racing crew of Steve Parrow and Mikkel Gaarde Pedersen, who left Spa-Francorchamps on 70-points.
The only other LMP3 Pro/Am teams that are still in contention for the title are Barcelona race winners Jacek Zielonka and Leo Sami Robinson in the no62 Bretton Racing (64-points) and Felipe Fernandez-Laser and Stefan Aust in the no71 Rinaldi Racing (48-points).
GT3
The no10 Racing Spirit of Léman Aston Martin Vantage holds a 21-point lead at the head of the GT3 championship standings. With Valentin Hasse Clot missing the race in Belgium, Philipp Sager leads the drivers’ championship on 90-points, while Hasse Clot is on 78-points in second place.
The winning car from Spa-Francorchamps, the no21 Kessel Racing Ferrari, is second in the team standings, with Oscar Lee Ryndziewicz on 69-points in the drivers’ table.
Four other cars still have a mathematical chance of securing the championship before the end of the season, with the no54 Dinamic GT Porsche of Matteo Cressoni and Reinhold Krahn on 57-points in third place. The no88 AF Corse Ferrari is on 44-points, the no17 Kessel Racing Ferrari is on 43-points and reigning champions Alessandro Cozzi and Eliseo Donno are on 40-points in the no51 AF Corse Ferrari 296.
The next round of the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup will be Round 5 at Silverstone in the UK on Saturday 12 September.
