Qualifying: Brutal Fish by Campos Claim Pole for Road To Le Mans

At the end of the 60-minute qualifying session for the 2026 Road To Le Mans the no12 Brutal Fish by Campos Ligier-Toyota claimed pole position with Arthur Rogeon lapping the 13.6km Circuit des 24 Heures in 3m48.898, over 0.8 seconds ahead of the rest of the field.  The LMP2 Pro/Am pole went to the no3 DKR Engineering Ligier of Quentin Antonel and the no77 SMC Motorsport McLaren of Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer took pole in GT3.

The session was red flagged on the out lap when the no22 Trajectus Motorsport went off into the gravel.  The session resumed with 47 minutes left on the clock.

Enzo Peugeot in the no85 R-ace GP Duqueine made the early running, with Gillian Henrion in the no98 Motorsport98 Ligier heading the LMP2 Pro/Am field and Morris Schuring ahead in GT3 in the no45 High Class Racing Porsche.

The times continued to improve with the session being interrupted after 25 minutes with a Slow Zone to recover the no9 ANS Motorsport, which had stopped at pit exit. 

The session finished under a Full Course Yellow after the no42 Steller Motorsport Ligier of Ameerh Naran stopped on track and couldn’t be recovered before the chequered flag was shown.

The LMP3 pole went to Arthur Rogeon in the no12 Brutal Fish by Campos Ligier, 0.8s ahead of the no5 23Events Racing Ligier-Toyota of Matteo Franco Segre with a 3m49.724.  Row 2 will see the no85 R-ace GP Duqueine and the no19 Brutal Fish by Campos Ligier with a 3m50.309 and a 3m50.598 lap respectively.

DKR Engineering will start from the front of the LMP3 Pro/Am grid after Quentin Antonel’s best lap of 3m50.901 was good enough for 6th overall. The no98 Motorsport98 will also start on the front row, with Gillian Henrion’s best lap of 3m51.293 being 0.392 seconds behind the no3 DKR Engineering Ligier.  The no62 Bretton Racing and no71 Rinaldi Racing will be on Row 2, with Léo Sami Robinson posting a 3m51.897 and Felipe Fernandez-Laser a 3m52.014 lap.

The no77 SMC Motorsport McLaren finished the session at the head of the GT3 field and 27th overall, with Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer’s best lap of 3m53.704 over 0.8 seconds ahead of the two Kessel Racing Ferraris.  David Fumanelli claimed the second front row slot on the GT3 grid with a 3m54.558 in the no17 Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo, 0.135s ahead of his teammate Giacomo Altoe in the no21 Ferrari. 

The no10 Racing Spirit of Léman Aston Martin Vantage of Valentin Hasse Clot will take the second spot on row 2 with a 3m54.712, 0.035s ahead of Garnet Patterson in the no95 United Autosports McLaren.

The first ever 3-hour RTLM race will take place on Friday 12 June and is due to get underway at 10h00.
