The field will consist of 90 drivers, 9 of whom are British, 31 teams, with four British teams across the three classes, all representing 29 different nations.
LMP3: 24 Entries
The 24 strong LMP3 grid will feature two British teams, Nielsen Racing and Vector Sport RLR, and five British drivers.
Maxwell Dodds will race alongside his French teammate Louis Iglesias for ANS Motorsport, the reigning Ligier European Series JS P4 champion scoring his maiden MLMC pole position in Belgium last month.
Jude Peters will race for Team Virage alongside Belgian driver Vic Stevens; Haydn Chance will once again partner Argentinian Nazareno López Cesaratto in the no68 M Racing Ligier-Toyota and Isaac Barashi will take to the wheel of the no5 23Events Racing Ligier alongside Italian Matteo Franco Segre.
British team Nielsen Racing will be back up to a two-car entry at Silverstone, with the no4 Duqueine driven by French driver Jules Caranta and his South African teammate Mikaeel Pitamber.
The no15 Vector Sport RLR Ligier-Toyota will be driven by Swiss driver Enea Frey and his Colombian teammate Geronimo Gomez Azza.
After taking their second win of the season in Belgium, Enzo Peugeot and Danial Frost lead the LMP3 standings by 30-points in the no85 R-ace GP Duqueine-Toyota and victory in Silverstone would give them and their French team the 2026 Driver and Team titles.
The no12 Brutal Fish by Campos crew of Arthur Rogeon and August Raber are currently in second place on 57-points thanks to their victory from pole in Le Mans and a second-place finish at Spa-Francorchamps.
With a maximum of 52 points still left to be won in the final two races of the season, the only other competitors that still capable of lifting the championship trophy are Lucas Fluxá Cross and Matus Ryba in the no19 Brutal Fish by Campos (50-points) and Colin Queen and Giovanni Maschio in the no50 23Events Racing (45-points).
There is one driver change in the LMP3 field, with Australian Jack Taylor replacing Arthur Pavie in the no6 ANS Motorsport Ligier, racing alongside Spain’s Mikkel Kristensen Illan.
The LMP3 field will feature a second car run by R-ace GP, with Zack Scoular and Léna Bühler in the no86 Duqueine. Forestier Racing by VPS and CLX Motorsport will each run a pair of Ligier JS P325-Toyotas. BWT Muecke Motorsport, High Class Racing, Trajectus Motorsport, Bretton Racing, Ajith RedAnt Racing, Inter Europol Competition and More Motorsport will each run a single Ligier, completing the 24-car grid for the Silverstone Round.
LMP3 Pro/Am: 11 Entries
P4 Racing are the only British flagged team on the LMP3 Pro/Am grid and the only all British team in the entire field, with Andrew Ferguson and Louis Hamilton-Smith looking for better luck on home soil than they’ve enjoyed in the previous four races.
The championships leaders and reigning class champions Eric De Doncker and Gillian Henrion took their third victory of the 2026 season at Spa-Francorchamps and lead the title race by 27-points in then no98 Motorsport98 Ligier-Toyota. As long as they score enough points to leave Silverstone with the same margin over their nearest rivals, they will secure the 2026 Driver and Team titles for the second time ahead of the final race at Portimão.
German driver Steve Parrow and his Danish teammate Mikkel Gaarde Pedersen will be looking for their first victory of the 2026 season at Silverstone to take the title race to the final round in Portugal next month, the pair currently on 70-points in the no66 Rinaldi Racing Ligier, while their teammates Stefan Aust and Felipe Fernandez-Laser are two place behind them in the championship standings in the no71 Ligier-Toyota.
Barcelona race winners Jacek Zielonka and Léo Sami Robinson are lying third in the overall standings on 64-points in the no62 Bretton Racing Ligier.
The field also features Indian cinema superstar actor Ajith Kumar, who will be racing in the no16 Ajith RedAnt by Virage Ligier alongside his regular French teammate Romain Vozniak. Kumar and Vozniak are one of two all bronze rated crews, the other being Swedish brothers Linus and Emil Hellberg in the no48 Allay Racing.
All Australian team GG Classics will see George Nakas and Fraser Ross will be looking to add to their tally with a second podium of the season after finishing third at Le Mans in June.
Single car entries by Racing Spirit of Léman, Inter Europol Competition and High Class Racing complete the 11-car grid for the 2-hour race in Silverstone.
GT3: 10 Entries
The 10 car GT3 grid will feature one British team, Ecurie Ecosse Blackthorn, and two British drivers.
Oscar Lee Ryndziewicz had a perfect weekend in Belgium last month, the British driver taking pole position in the no21 Kessel Racing Ferrari and then standing on the top step of the class podium. He will be joined for his home race by Italian Giacomo Altoe, with whom Ryndziewicz finished third at Le Mans in June.
Thomas Canning will be racing in the Ecurie Ecosse Blackthorn Aston Martin Vantage with his Swiss teammate and team owner Claude Bovet.
The championship leading no10 Racing Spirit of Léman Aston Martin will see Valentin Hasse Clot return to the driving seat, replacing Marius Fossard who stood in for the French driver in Belgium. Hasse Clot will race alongside the current championship leader Philipp Sager, the Austrian holding a 21-point lead over Oscar Lee Ryndziewicz.
Matteo Cressoni and Reinhold Krahn will race the no54 Dinamic GT Porsche 911, while Rey Acosta III and Marco Erminio Bonanomi will compete in the no88 AF Corse Ferrari, with their teammates, and reigning champions, Eliseo Donno and Alessandro Cozzi in the no51 Ferrari 296.
Le Castellet race winners David Cleto Fumanelli and Lorenzo Ferdinando Innocenti took a well-deserved second place in Belgium, the no17 Kessel Racing Ferrari moving up the championship standings to sixth overall with two races remaining.
The Code Racing Development Aston Martin Vantage, the Biogas Motorsport Ferrari and the no77 SMC Motorsport McLaren 720S all have unchanged driver lineups from the last race in Belgium, and they complete the 10 strong GT3 grid and the 45-car field for the UK round of the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup.
