Iglesias Secures Top Spot in Le Castellet Qualifying for ANS Motorsport

The no9 Ligier-Toyota will start this afternoon’s Le Castellet Round from the front of the 42-car field, with Louis Iglesias securing a home pole position for himself and ANS Motorsport with a strong performance.

Iglesias posted a 1m58.532 right at the end of the 15-minute session and was 0.465s ahead of the nearest rival, which was Arthur Rogeon in the no12 Brutal Fish by Campos Ligier, with Rogeon moving up into second place with a 1m58.997 at the chequered flag.

Row 2 will be headed by the no50 23Events Racing Ligier, with Colin Queen ending the session on a 1m59.007 just 0.049s ahead of the no4 Nielsen Racing Duqueine of Jules Caranta.  The no92 Forester Racing by VPS will be on Row 3, with the no86 R-ace GP Duqueine alongside.  The race winning no85 R-ace GP Duqueine qualified in 10th.

LMP3 Pro/Am: Bukhantsov Takes Two From Two for Inter Europol Competition

Alexander Bukhantsov put in another dominate qualifying performance to secure his second pole of the 2026 season, putting the no34 Inter Europol Competition Ligier-Toyota at the front of the 10 car LMP3 Pro/Am field by over 0.8 seconds with a 2m01.147 at the chequered flag.

The no71 Rinaldi Racing Ligier will start on the front row after Stefan Aust put in his best lap at the chequered flag with a 2m02.040, just ahead of Barcelona race winner Jacek Zielonka in the no62 Bretton Racing Ligier, the Pole setting a 2m02.155.

The no58 GG Classics of James Sweetnam will join Zielonka on Row 2, with reigning champion Eric De Doncker heading row 3 in the no98 Motorsport98.

GT3: Moreno Secures Second Pole of 2026

The no11 Code Racing Development Aston Martin Vantage will start this afternoon’s race at Le Castellet from the front of the GT3 grid with Sebastian Moreno claiming his second pole of the season.  The Colombian posted a 2m04.744 lap, 0.738s ahead of his nearest rival, who was reigning GT3 champion Alessandro Cozzi in the no51 AF Corse Ferrari. 

The no77 SMC Motorsport McLaren 720S will head row two after a strong performance by Gonzales De Andres Martin, the Spaniard challenging for pole but having to settle for third with a 2m05.657.  The no17 Kessel Racing Ferrari was fourth fastest ahead of the no54 Dinamic GT Porsche and the no21 Kessel Racing Ferrari.
