The no50 23Events Racing Ligier was second fastest overall with Colin Queen’s time of 1m59.599 just 0.01s ahead of Barcelona race winner Enzo Peugeot in the no85 R-ace GP Duqueine-Toyota, with the no4 Nielsen Racing Duqueine fourth fastest 0.107s behind Peugeot.
The leading car in LMP3 Pro/Am was the no71 Rinaldi Racing Ligier-Toyota, with Felipe Fernandez-Laser lapping in 1m59.993, which was good enough for 6th overall. The German finished the session 0.036s ahead of reigning champion Gillian Henrion, the French driver posting a 2m00.029 lap in the no98 Motorsport98 Ligier.
The no66 Rinaldi Racing Ligier was third quickest, 0.4 seconds ahead of the race winning no62 Bretton Racing Ligier in fourth.
The no11 Code Racing Development Aston Martin Vantage was the fastest in GT3 for the second time, Ethan Ischer lapping in 2m02.892, 0.7 seconds faster than his best time in FP1. Valentin Hasse Clot was second fastest in the no10 Racing Spirit of Le Mans Aston Martin, the French driver finishing the 60-minute session with a 2m03.204, an improvement of nearly 0.4 seconds on his best lap in FP1.
The no51 AF Corse Ferrari was third fastest with a 2m03.329, 0.250s ahead of the no17 Kessel Racing Ferrari at the chequered flag.
Qualifying for Round 2 of the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup will take place tomorrow morning, starting with GT3 at 11h50. Qualifying is available to view live on the FIAWEC+ App.
