The no11 Eurointernational Ligier of Mikkel Jensen will start this afternoon’s race from pole position after the Dane posted a 3m51.315 lap in a red flag interrupted qualifying session.
The first red flag was shown after 8 minutes into the 20-minute session when the wheel of the no 15 M Racing YMR Ligier detached. The session resumed but was cut short with just over a minute on the clock when the no75 Ecurie Ecosse / Nielsen Ligier went off track into the gravel at Porsche Curves.
The no11 Ligier was 0.11 seconds ahead of the second placed car, the no9 Cool Racing Norma M30-Nissan of Scott Andrews, and 0.7 seconds ahead of the no2 Ecurie Ecosse Ligier of James Littlejohn.

In GT3 it was the no71 AF Corse Ferrari F488 of Marco Cioci, the Italian posting a 3m55.867, over a second ahead of the no54 Spirit of Race Ferrari of Frederic Vervisch.
The first race of the Road to Le Mans weekend will take place at 17h30 later today.
