After the second Free Practice session of the Road to Le Mans weekend the no30 CD Sport Norma M30-Nissan of Anthony Pons and Laurent Hörr set the pace. The 60-minute session was cut short by 7 minutes when the red flag was shown to allow the marshals to recover a car stopped on track.
Under grey skies but on a dry track the best lap was recorded by Hörr, with the German setting a 3m50.599, 0.924 seconds ahead of the no11 Eurointernational Ligier of Mikkel Jensen. Australian Scott Andrews was third quickest in the no9 Cool Racing Norma, with the no76 Ecurie Ecosse / Nielsen Ligier in fourth, 2.6 seconds behind the lead car.

The GT3 class was once again headed by the no71 AF Corse Ferrari F488, with Marco Cioci setting a 3m58.166, 0.130s ahead of the no54 Spirit of Race F488 of Frédéric Vervisch.
Attention now turns to qualifying with the first session at 13h30 to determine the grid for race 1 this evening.
