Two teams, Kessel Racing (2018/19) and Iron Lynx (2020/21), have won four of the previous eight titles with a Ferrari. TF Sport (2016) and Racing Spirit of Léman (2023) won their titles with an Aston Martin. Ebimotors won in 2017 with a Porsche and GMB Motorsport won in 2022 with a Honda NSX.

Thirteen cars are entered in the 2024 MLMC, with five different manufacturers on the full season entry. There are five Ferrari 296s, three Lamborghini Huracans, two Porsche 911 GT3 Rs, two Aston Martin Vantage GT3s, and a single Audi R8 LMS.

There are three teams running the Ferrari 296 GT3. 2018 and 2019 Champions Kessel Racing have two cars, as do AF Corse. Spanish team Biogas Motorsport will run a single 296 in their MLMC debut season.

Two teams are running the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2. 2023 race winners Leipert Motorsport return with a pair of Huracans, while Iron Dames will also run a Lamborghini for its all-female crew.

There will be two Porsche 911 GT3 Rs on the 2024 grid, with Danish team High Class Racing running one and Proton Huber Competition running the second entry.

British team Blackthorn are entering a pair of Aston Martin Vantage GT3s in their debut season, while fellow British team Steller Motorsport return with their Audi R8 LMS that won at Spa-Francorchamps in 2023.

Each of the five types of GT3 cars have different engine layouts based on the road car, with front and mid-engine, turbo and non turbo and six, eight or even ten cylinders

Power and weight will be subject to Balance of Performance calculations throughout the season to keep the competition as close as possible.
