The fastest times overall in each session were set by the no85 R-ace GP Duqueine D09-Toyota, with Enzo Peugeot posting the fastest time in the morning and his teammate Daniel Frost setting the fastest lap in the afternoon. However, it was the 1m37.469 lap set by Peugeot in the morning that claimed the top spot for the day. Frost’s time in the afternoon was just 0.052s slower at 1m37.521.
The no20 High Class Racing Ligier was second quickest in LMP3, with Lenny Ried lapping in 1m37.779, 0.247s ahead of the third fastest car, the no97 CLX Motorsport Ligier driven by David Droux, the Swiss driver setting a 1m38.026 lap in the afternoon session.
The fastest LMP3 Pro/Am was set by reigning champion Gillian Henrion, the French driver lapping the 4.657km circuit in 1m38.413 to set the fifth fastest lap overall in the afternoon session. Henrion’s time was also four tenths quicker than the fastest LMP3 Pro/Am lap set in the morning session by Mikkel Gaarde Pedersen in the no66 Rinaldi Racing Ligier-Toyota, the Dane’s lap of 1m38.834 the second fastest in the category
The third fastest LMP3 Pro/Am lap was posted by Pedersen’s teammate Felipe Fernandez-Laser in the no71 Rinaldi Racing Ligier, the German driver setting a best time of 1m38.965 in the afternoon session.
In GT3 it was the no10 Racing Spirit of Leman Aston Martin Vantage that set the fastest lap in both the morning and afternoon sessions, with the best lap of 1m41.685 set by Valentin Hasse Clot in the morning, while his teammate Philipp Sager posted a 1m42.213 in the afternoon.
The second fastest car in GT3 was the no21 Kessel Racing Ferrari after Giacomo Altoe lapped in 1m42.259 in the morning with reigning champion Eliseo Dunno setting the third fastest lap of 1m42.602 in the afternoon.
The teams and drivers will be back on track on Friday morning 09h50 for the first of two 60-minute Free Practice sessions ahead of qualifying and the first race of the season on Saturday 11 April.
