Following the announcement by the ACO that the 89th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will move from 12-13 June to the 21-22 August, the 2021 Road to Le Mans will also be held in August, with race 1 on Thursday 19th and race 2 on Saturday 21st.
As a consequence of this change of date for Le Mans, the 2-hour Michelin Le Mans Cup race at Le Castellet, originally scheduled for Saturday 28 August, will now move forward in the calendar to Saturday 5 June and will become round 2 on the 2021 calendar.
