The no98 Motorsport98 Ligier was not only the fastest LMP3 Pro/Am car in the second Free Practice session but Gillian Henrion’s 1m40.484 lap was the fastest overall. Henrion’s time was 0.155s ahead of the no9 ANS Motorsport Ligier of Louis Iglesias, who was the fastest LMP3 entry, 0.048s ahead of Enzo Peugeot in the no85 R-ace GP Duqueine.
The session was red flagged with two minutes left on the clock when the no49 High Class Racing Ligier of Andrew Rackstraw went off into the gravel and there was no time to recover the car before the chequered flag.
The two Rinaldi Racing Ligiers were second and third fastest in LMP3 Pro/Am, with the no71 Ligier of Felipe Fernandez-Laser posting 1m41.343, a tenth faster than Mikkel Gaarde-Pedersen in the sister car.
The GT3 class was headed by the no54 Dinamic GT Porsche 911 of Matteo Cressoni, the Italian posting a1m44.044 lap, 0.098s ahead of the no21 Kessel Racing Ferrari after Giacomo Altoe posted a 1m44.142. The no51 AF Corse Ferrari was third quickest with Eliseo Donno posting a 1m44.443 lap time.
Qualifying for the sixth and final race of the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup will take place on Friday 9 October starting with GT3 at 11h55.
