FP1: 23Events Racing Fastest in First Session

The no50 23Events Racing Ligier was the fastest of the 44 entries in the first 60-minute practice session in Portugal, with Colin Queen posting a 1m39.688 lap, 0.257s ahead of newly crowned champion Enzo Peugeot in the no85 R-ace GP Duqueine.

The no9 ANS Motorsport Ligier was third fastest at the end of the session, with Louis Iglesias lapping in 1m39.998, with the no4 Nielsen Racing Duqueine of Jules Caranta 4th fastest with a 1m40.174. 

The championship leading no98 Motorsport98 Ligier was the fastest in the LMP3 Pro/Am class with Gillian Henrion setting a1m40.328, which was good enough for 7th overall.  The no62 Bretton Racing Ligier was second quickest with a 1m40.495 lap set by Leo Sami Robinson, who was just 0.016s ahead of the title challenging no66 Rinaldi Racing Ligier of Mikkel Gaarde Pedersen.

The no10 Racing Spirit of Leman Aston Martin Vantage set the pace in the GT3 category with Valentin Haase Clot setting a session best time of 1m43.118.  The championship leading car was 0.182s ahead of the no51 AF Corse Ferrari of Eliseo Donno.  The no54 Dinamic GT Porsche was third fastest, with Matteo Cressoni posting a 1m43.329, 0.237s ahead of the no23 Biogas Motorsport Ferrari.

The next session will be the Bronze Driver test session at 14h00, followed by Free Practice 2 at 16h05.
