With the air temperature approaching 30 degrees the competitors took to the track for the final Free Practice at Le Castellet before qualifying tomorrow at midday.
The fastest car was the no48 Kox Racing Ligier-Nissan with Peter Kox setting a 2m04.921 lap, 0.4 seconds ahead of the no53 M Racing-YMR Ligier of Natan Bihel with a 2m05.921. The no98 Motorsport98 Ligier was third followed by the no9 Duqueine Engineering and the no79 Nielsen Racing Ligiers with the top 5 LMP3 cars covered by less than one second.
The no7 Lee Mowle Mercedes AMG GT3 was quickest once again with the best lap of 2m07.123 just 0.034s inside the best time set in the earlier Free Practice session. The no75 Optimum Racing Audi was second quickest once again with Joe Osborne setting a 2m08.686 lap and the no46 Ebimotors Lamborghini was third quickest.
The no8 SVC Sport Management Lamborghini suffered a puncture in the session and had to slowly return to the pits for a new tyre. On rejoining the track there was an incident that brought out the red flag to recover the no8 Lamborghini.
