The 2024 Michelin Le Mans Cup season gets underway at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain in April and with 42 entries the upcoming season promises to once again provide some of the best motorsport entertainment seen anywhere in Europe.
One of the major changes is the addition of Mugello to the 2024 calendar, with the first visit by the MLMC to the Italian circuit in September.
Also, after being held on Friday in 2023, the second Road To Le Mans Race will return to its usual Saturday morning slot ahead of the 24 Hour of Le Mans.
The 2024 Sporting Regulations haven’t seen many changes over the winter with updates applied mainly to the wording rather than changes to the way the series is administered.
Here are some of the highlights of the changes that will be seen this year.
The opening round of the 2024 Michelin Le Mans Cup will take place in Spain on Saturday 13 April, followed by Le Castellet (4 May), Road To Le Mans (13-15 June), Spa-Francorchamps (24 August), Mugello (28 September) and conclude in Portimao on Saturday 19 October.
