We caught up with some drivers during the drivers briefing to get some reaction after the official test day at Le Castellet.
Jean Glorieux - No3 DKR Engineering Duqueine M30-D08-Nissan
“I am very happy to be back.It went well in the test; glad to be back in a car after a couple of years here at Le Castellet, which is a lovely track. It’s good to be with Laurents (Horr), I am learning a lot and we’re good teammates together.I’m very happy and looking forward to today and tomorrow.”
Eric De Doncker - No98 Motorsport98 Ligier JS P320-Nissan
“It wasn’t too bad. I was alone almost all day yesterday, so I was a bit tired, because Dino (Lunardi) had to work. He landed at 4:30, I had to pick him at the entrance, and he jumped in the car just before 5pm.After three laps he set the third fastest time, so I think I did a good set up of the car for him.We will see how we go today but so far not so bad.”
Giacomo Piccini - No8 Iron Lynx Ferrari 488 GT3
“Yesterday was very good, the two days before with the ELMS was also good, so it’s very positive and the car is going well. So we are looking forward to the race weekend.”
