The first race of the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Series is just one month away, with the Barcelona Round taking place on Saturday 11 April, which is preceded by qualifying on the same day.
With 45 cars entered for the full season, the grid at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will be the largest ever seen in the Michelin Le Mans Cup, outside of the Road to Le Mans.
The first event of the year actually gets underway for the Michelin Le Mans Cup on Wednesday 8 April, with two test sessions from 09h00 to 13h00 and 14h00 to 17h00.
The first 60-minute practice session takes place on Friday morning at 09h50, with FP2 later the same day at 17h35.There is also a 30-minute bronze driver only session at 14h40.
Race day starts with three 15-minute qualifying sessions, starting at 12h30 for the GT3 competitors, followed at 12h55 for LMP3 Pro/Am and then concluding with LMP3 at 13h20.
The 120-minute race is due to get underway at 18h20 and we will finally get to see who will be the front runners in this year's six race championship. Qualifying and the race will be available to view live on the brand new FIAWEC+ app.
