Noble took the chequered flag just one second ahead of Matt Bell in the no69 Cool Racing Ligier after the Scottish driver overtook several cars in the final 45-minutes to lead the race. The no23 United Autosports Ligier took the final podium position.

- The 33 car field is led at the start by the no37 Cool Racing Ligier of Antoine Doquin.
- The no66 Rinaldi Racing Duqueine of Alexander Mattschull overtook the no5 Phoenix Racing Ligier of Hamza Owega for second at T1
- The no73 TS Corse Duqueine (Pietro Peccenini) runs wide and there is contact with the no15 RLR MSport Ligier (Michael Benham).The no73 is then clipped by another car which damages the rear of the car. The no73 heads to the pits to retire.
- The no71 Team Virage Ligier (Rob Hodes) has a rear left puncture on Lap 3 and slowly heads to the pits.
- The no37 Ligier holds a slender lead of 0.6 seconds over the no66 Duqueine, with the no5 Ligier in third just ahead of the no18 Muehlner Motorsport Duqueine of Mathieu de Barbuat.
- ·On lap 10 the no17 Idec Sport Ligier of Patrice Lafargue spins across the track at T14 after getting on the kerbs and hitting the barriers on the inside.The Safety Car is deployed to recover the car.
- While behind the Safety Car the no6 ANS Team JSE Management Ligier of Jonathan Brossard spins off at T6 and hits the barriers. The car also has to be recovered.
- Many teams opt to change strategy during the Safety Car and pit early. The no66 Duqueine left it very late and when they tried to rejoin the pit entry was closed as the Safety Car was withdrawn, and they dropped back down the order.
- After 15 minutes the Safety Car is withdrawn, and the race goes green.
