The LMP3 qualifying saw the 26 cars head out track for the 15-minute session, with the no23 United Autosports Ligier of John Schauerman making a bid for pole early on. However, the times started to tumble and the no66 Rinaldi Racing Ligier of Alexander Mattschull posted a 1m51.597 lap with the no37 Cool Racing Ligier of Antoine Doquin going ahead with a 1m51.250 lap time with 7 minutes left on the clock.

The session came to a halt three minutes later when the no37 Ligier stopped on the Mistral Straight and with Doquin stuck in a dangerous position the session was red flagged.

The Ligier was recovered and the rest of the field rejoined the track for the final four minutes of the session. The no5 Phoenix Racing Ligier of Finn Gehrsitz was up to second place with a 1m51.406 and was on a flyer on his final lap, but in the last sector he got stuck behind a slower car and the young German finished the session in second place, with Antoine Doquin taking his second pole of the 2021 season.
