M.Racing – YMR set the fastest time of the second of testing in Portimão

The n°19 Ligier JS P3 of M.Racing – YMR once again set the fastest time of the day during the morning session with a lap in 1:39.281 by Yann Ehrlacher. In second position, the Ligier n°48 of Kox Racing did a lap in 1:39.993 (Peter Kox, Stephane Kox,Nico Pronk), with the Ligier JS P3 n°14 (RLR M Sport) of Alex Kapadia and Ross Warburton setting the third fastest time of the day (1.40:234).

In the GT3 class, the Porsche 911 n°20 of Gulf Racing UK was the quickest for the second day in a row with a lap in 1:41.902 (Ben Barker/ Andrew Baker). It is followed by the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 n°8 of SVS Sport Management driven by Andrea Belicchi and Cedric Mézard (1:42.738). Finally, the Mercedes n°7 of Lee Mowle set a time of 1.42:838 on the Portuguese track.

Two red flags disrupted the sessions. One this morning because of a debris on the track and another one at the end of the day after the Ligier 33 of Ibran Pardo Javier went off the track.  

The Collective test is now over, the first round of the 2017 Michelin Le Mans Cup will be held on the 13^th May in Monza, Italy.
