John Schauerman – n°23 United Autosports – 4th LMP3
“I turned the car over to Wayne (Boyd) in fourth. Mostly I got lucky. Everyone else seemed to have incidents and imploded around me. I passed some cars out there though and I was consistent, my lap times were good and I didn’t make any mistakes at all. I was really happy with the drive – it was super fun. Wayne did a mega job as always. I can always count on him to do the best job possible. I’m really happy.”
Pietro Peccenini – n°73 TS Corse – 7th LMP3
“We all did a great job. The team is competitive and we have shown that we can reach important results. The setup of the car was perfect and without any unexpected events we could have fought for the podium. The home round in Monza is a turning point; we are now ready for the Road to Le Mans and we will get there with this good boost of confidence”.
