Polish outfit Team Virage finished the second free practice session at Monza with both their cars at the head of the 32 entries. Canadian Garett Grist posted the best time of the weekend so far with a 1m44.506s lap in the no71 Ligier, two tenths ahead of his teammate Sacha Lehmann in the no16 entry.
United Autosports were third and fourth quickest with Wayne Boyd ahead of teammate Scott Andrews by just 0.047s and 0.575s behind Grist.
The GT3 field was led by the no61 AF Corse Ferrari with Andrea Montermini setting the sessions best time of 1m49.440, which was eight tenths slower than the best time of the day set by Ross Gunn in the no97 TF Sport Aston Martin in FP1.
Montermini’s time was 0.181s ahead of the no8 Iron Lynx Ferrari of Paolo Ruberti, with Doriane Pin setting the third best time of the session with a 1m49.909 lap in the no9 Iron Lynx 488 GT3.
