The session was interrupted by three red flags, the final one bringing the practice period to a close two minutes early after the no77 SMC Motorsport McLaren went off into the gravel at T13.
The no66 Rinaldi Racing Ligier was second quickest overall and the fastest of the 11 LMP3 Pro/Am competitors after Mikkel Gaarde Pedersen lapped the 7km circuit in 2m13.939, 0.621s behind the no12 Ligier and nearly eight tenths faster than the championship leading no98 Motorsport98 Ligier driven by Gillian Henrion, which finished 2nd in class and 8th overall.
The no9 ANS Motorsport Ligier was second fastest in LMP3, with Louis Iglesias setting a 2m14.017 lap in third overall, 0.298s ahead of the no97 CLX Motorsport Ligier in 4th overall and third in class.
Kessel Racing made it a 1-2 in GT3, with the no21 Ferrari 296 the quickest of the two cars. Lorenzo Ferrari posted a 2m18.708 lap, 0.384s ahead of his teammate David Cleto Funanelli in the no17 Ferrari 296 GT3. The championship leading no10 Racing Spirit of Léman Aston Martin Vantage was third fastest at the end of the 60-minute session, with Marius Fossard posting a best lap of 2m20.412.
