“The test this morning was not so bad, I am very happy with the balance of the car.I did just five laps with old tyres and the car went pretty well.Unfortunately, we had a problem at the pit stop we had a fire.We stopped to check the damage, there are a lot of things to check, but hopefully everything will be OK for the second session.

“For me every time it is good to be here in Le Castellet, it’s nearly my home race because I live not so far from here. It’s a beautiful place, we just have to cross our fingers we don’t have the same weather as we had last year, which was a nightmare.

“In a Michelin Le Mans Cup race anything can happen, we work a lot with Eric (De Doncker) just to improve the overall pace, but every time we race the car is very strong and here in Le Castellet we expect to be at the top.”
