The Balance of Performance (BoP) for season finale of the 2016 Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup in Estoril has seen three changes from the last race in Belgium.
The Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 has seen a weight reduction of 20kg. The car weight is now 1260kg compared to 1280kg at Spa-Francorchamps, which is 10kg above the homologation base weight of the Ferrari. The Ferrari 458’s engine restrictor has also been adjusted and for Estoril will be 36mm, +1.5mm on the 34.5mm it ran in Belgium.
The Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 (FIA Homologation no GT3-032) will have a final car weight of 1295kg, a 10kg reduction on the weight it ran in Belgium and is now 65kg above the homologation base weight of 1230kg.
All the other balance of performance for the other cars racing in the Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup remains unchanged for the season finale in Portugal.
Round 6 of the 2016 Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup will take place at the Autódromo do Estoril on Saturday 22 October.
