Following on from Ligier unveiling the JS P325 LMP3 chassis at the 24 Hours of Le Mans last month, ADESS have revealed their LMP3 challenger for ELMS and MLMC honours from next season. The AD25 will be powered by the new Toyota V35A twin-turbo V6 engine that will be used by all LMP3 competitors from next year.
The ADESS AD25 features a carbon-honeycomb monocoque with Zylon “anti-intrusion” side panels, with a new cooling system and new rear body kit. The AD25 will be 4.65m in length, 1.89m in width and weigh in at 970kg. The Toyota V6 will be mated to an X-TRAC six-speed sequential gearbox.
The first run for the ADESS AD25 will take place in Estoril, with a full test programme being planned for the coming weeks.
The four eligible LMP3 chassis manufacturers are Ligier, Duqueine, ADESSand Ginetta.
