On the 22nd of October will be held the finale of the 2017 Michelin Le Mans Cup in the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve.
The track of Portimão was built in 2008 and is situated in the hills of Algarve, Portugal.It has a lot of elevation changes that might challenge the Michelin Le Mans Cup drivers. The 4.684km track counts 16 turns (7 left and 9 right) and the longest straight is 969m long.
20 cars will take part to the finale race of the season: 14 LMP3 and 6 LMGTE driven by 40 drivers representing 13 nations from all over the world.
The LMP3 title was decided in Spa-Francorchamps where DKR Engineering, Alex Toril and Jean Glorieux were crowned champion but in the GT3 class the titles have not been decided yet so the race promises to be full of action and drama in Portugal.
