The team was created five years ago by Swedish brothers Emil and Linus Hellberg from Gothenburg who, having built up over the past 20 years a very successful international brand of ski and outdoor apparel, decided they had time to pursue a passion which was to eventually race together at the Le Mans 24 Hour event.
Both are bronze rated FIA drivers, Linus being the younger at 38 while Emil turns 50 in November. However, both have shown themselves to be very rapid despite their inexperience in LMP3 and Emil has been having a strong season this year in the Creventic Prototype LMP3 Cup winning his first race at Monza the other week and finishing four times on the podium from the six races he’s contested so far this season.
As graduates from the Ascari Academy in Spain, both brothers started racing back in 2022 driving a pair of Wolf GD08 Thunder cars in the Italian Sports Prototype Championship and the following year they finished a respectable 7th and 10th in the series. Then in 2023. with both running up front, Emil dramatically won the overall title at the final race.
A move into the cut and thrust world of the EuroCup-3 series followed in 2024 as the brothers ‘experimented’ with single seater racing but it soon became apparent that the Road To Le Mans was the ultimate goal. So a decision was made to buy a pair of brand new Ligier JS325-Toyota LMP3 cars and start the journey which begins in Belgium.
Round 4 of the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup will take place at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps on Saturday 22 August.
