Q: This is your first year in Endurance and at the wheel of an LMP3, how did it go in Monza?

“My first race went pretty well. I feel good in the car, in the team and with Adrien (Chila) my teammate. The work we did this winter was really efficient and I felt ready for the race. The result is positive and I think that it now allows the team to go smoothly for the rest of the season, everybody is motivated. The fact to drive one hour was new for me and I prepared myself physically all winter. To start at Monza was a good way to get ready for Le Mans where we will have a quite similar track with long straights and high top speed.

Q: You will drive for the first time in Le Mans, how do you feel?

I’m really excited and motivated to drive on this mythical track. I have been watching the Le Mans 24 Hours since I was a child and it is a dream to race here.

Q: How will you approach the two 55 minutes race of Road To Le Mans on the 13.6km Le Mans track?

There is a lot of changes for this event. I don’t take it as the other weekend of the season. There is more entries and the format makes it like two sprint races and the battle will be hard. The track is unusual and we cannot train except in a simulator. I will work with last year data and videos to have as much information as I can before the first free practice. I also have one exam for my Bachelor degree on the Thursday morning which add another challenge!

Q: After a fourth place in Monza, what is your goal for this second round?

The fourth place was satifying but we still have some adjustments to make. I can’t really have a goal considering the difference of the grid between Road To Le Mans and the other races of the season, we will do our best. The aim is clearly to score points but if we can be on the podium or win we won’t bother!
