Mid-Season championship points for the 1st edition of the Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup

In the Team’s Title race the TF Sport Aston Martin n°34 is stretching is lead of the Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup to 16 points over the n°55 McLaren 650S of FFF Racing team by ACM (36 points), with a victory in Imola and 2 podiums in Le Mans and Austria. The driver line-up of the Aston Martin, Euan Hankey and Salih Yoluc, is also leading the drivers’ classification with 52 points. The battle between the second and third position is stronger as the n°88 Porsche of Mentos Racing and the n°51 AF Corse Ferrari are tied on 34 points, just 2 points behind the second placed n°55 McLaren 650S of FFF Racing Team by ACM.

In the driver’s classification, Aleksey Basov and Victor Shaitar, in the n°72 Ferrari (SMP Racing) are second (51 points) just 1 point behind the Aston Martin drivers Euan Hankey and Salih Yoluc. In third position is Adrian Quaife-Hobbs and Hiroshi Hamagoshi, who have scored 36 points in the opening three races of the 2016 season.

The last three races of 2016 at Le Castellet, Spa-Francorchamps and Estoril are going to be really interesting before the names of the first winners of the Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup will be known.

The 4^th round of the Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup will be held on the 27^th of August in Le Castellet in France.
