The Pre Season Test for the brand new Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup got underway today with seven hours of track time. With the sun shining on the Circuit Paul Ricard the no25 FF Corse Ferrari F488 of Matteo Malucelli was the quickest in the 4-hour morning, with a 1m58.002 lap, 0.326s ahead of the no5 FFF Racing Team by ACM Lamborghini Huracan GT3 of Andrea Amici. Amici was the fastest driver in the afternoon but slower than his morning session time by 0.47s.
Cars representing Audi, Ferrari, Lamborghini and McLaren were out on track again at lunchtime for the traditional preseason tracking shots around the 5.4km track.
On track were the FFF Racing Team by ACM with the no5 Lamborghini Huracan GT3, the Chinese team also running a McLaren 650S. Italian team AF Corse will be running two Ferraris this weekend, with a new F458 and a F458 GT3 Italia.
These are three British teams testing this weekend, with Tockwith Motorsports fielding their Audi R8 LMS, FF Corse with the Ferrari 488 and TF Sport taking part with their Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3.

Another entry representing a sixth different marque will be announced soon, with more set to follow ahead of the opening race of the 2016 Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup at Imola on 14 May.
Tomorrow the teams will be back out on track with the morning session will be between 09h00 and 13h00 followed by a 3 hour afternoon session starting at 14h00.
