We caught up with Finn Gehrsitz as he prepared for his second outing in the Phoenix Racing run Ligier at Le Castellet.

“It’s my first year and I’m very happy to drive here in the Michelin Le Mans Cup. I think it is difficult because there are a lot of strong competitors, but I am training hard and looking forward to the season.

“The Ligier LMP3 is completely new to me and is very special. It’s very fast and not that easy to drive but I am getting used to it and I’m happy to drive.

“Phoenix Racing have a lot of experience in the DTM and other aero cars, but they are new to the prototypes as this is the first year for them.We are working together and giving our best.

“I am looking forward to the LMP2 and the Le Mans Hypercar, which I see as the future. The Michelin Le Mans Cup is the perfect series for me to start in prototypes.”
