Next season, the Ligier European Series champions in the JS P4 category will not only win the title of LES champion but also a prize money of 150 000€ to take part in the Michelin Le Mans Cup with a Ligier JS P320 in 2023.
This will allow drivers to step up in the Endurance Ladder and to move to the next step which is the Michelin Le Mans Cup. The aim is to reinforce the famous Endurance Ladder consisting of the Ligier European Series, the Michelin Le Mans Cup, the European Le Mans Series and finally the FIA World Endurance Championship with the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This will also reinforce the will of supporting drivers and teams that wish to have a career in Endurance Racing.
As a reminder, the Ligier European Series is a single-make series (Ligier JS P4 and Ligier JS2 R) that takes place over six rounds, during the European Le Mans Series events, and on some of the best European tracks including the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit.
