Before heading to Barcelona for the fourth round of the 2019 Michelin Le Mans Cup, let’s have a quick look at the classifications.
The all British team Lanan Racing with its n°25 Norma M30 is leading the championship with 66 points thanks to 2 wins in Le Castellet and Monza and a second place in Race 2 of Road To Le Mans for Michael Benham and Duncan Tappy.
The reigning champion DKR Engineering is only 8 points behind Lanan Racing with the n° 3 Norma M30 of Laurents Hörr and François Kirmann after 3 second positions in Le Castellet, Monza, Road To Le Mans, a win in Race 2 of Road To Le Mans and 2 pole positions.
In third we found the n°2 Nielsen Racing Norma M30 of Tony Wells and Colin Noble with 43 points.
In the GT3 class, Luzich Racing took the lead after winning the two 55-minute races in Road To Le Mans with the Ferrari 488 GT3 n°71 of Fabien Lavergne and Mikkel Mac.
17 points behind are the reigning champions Kessel Racing that started well their title defence with a win in Le Castellet and a second place in Monza for Giacomo Piccini and Sergio Pianezzola.
Finally, the n°51 Spirit of Race Ferrari 488 is standing third with 36 points.
