DKR Engineering Set Fastest Time of the Day in FP2 at Le Mans

The second 60-minute Free Practice session for the Road to Le Mans competitors was held in the evening and finished under the floodlights.

The no3 DKR Engineering Duqueine posted the fastest time of the day with Laurents Hörr setting a 3m45.941, 0.007s faster than Scott Andrews best time in FP1.

The no71 Team Virage Ligier of Garrett Grist was second fastest with the Canadian setting a 3m47.814 lap, 1.873 seconds behind the DKR Duqueine.The no7 Nielsen Racing Ligier of Colin Noble was third quickest with a 3m47.990 lap, three tenths ahead of the no21 Muehlner Motorsport Duqueine in 4^th.

The GT3 category was once again led by the no2 Pzoberer Zürichsee by TFT Porsche of Nicolas Leutwiler and Julien Andlauer, with Andlauer besting his FP1 time by just 0.004s with a 3m56.547 lap.The no8 Iron Lynx Ferrari of Logan Sargeant was second fastest, 0.180s behind Andlauer and 1.4 seconds ahead of the third placed no51 AF Corse Ferrari.

Qualifying for the first RTLM race will take place at 10h40 tomorrow morning, with the 20-minute session followed by a second session of the same duration to determine the grid for Saturday’s race.
